The pitch of the dam should always be towards the inside of the shower stall. 1/8"
is perfect. Too much of a pitch can result in larger gap under the door. We use polycarbonate sweeps on the bottom of
the shower door for added water damming.
On flat dams, a threshold can be installed. We in most cases do not use thresholds even
if the dam is flat.

The pitch of the dam should never be to the outside of the shower stall. The water will
hit the dam and run out onto the outside of the shower stall. If you have a flat dam we can put a threshold on the dam. In
most cases it wont leak but, it can.
